Many roofing sheets, soffits, flue pipes and gutters on pre-2000 properties contain asbestos. If you're unsure, stop work and have materials sampled before proceeding — working on unidentified asbestos is a criminal offence under CAR 2012.

Corrugated Cement Roof Sheets
The most common material found by roofers — garage roofs, outbuilding lean-tos, agricultural buildings and commercial roofing.
Soffits, Fascias & Gutters
Asbestos cement was widely used in domestic and commercial soffit boards and guttering systems on pre-1990s properties.
AIB Ceiling & Wall Panels
Asbestos insulating board used in ceiling tiles, partition boards and fire door linings — common in commercial and public buildings from the 1950s–80s.
Artex & Textured Coatings
Textured ceiling coatings containing chrysotile asbestos — safe if undisturbed but a serious risk when sanded, drilled or plastered over.
Pipe Lagging & Boiler Insulation
Thermal insulation on pipework in loft spaces, airing cupboards and boiler rooms — often disturbed during re-roofing or heating upgrades.

Absolutely — we're experienced in working within live sites and will coordinate directly with your team. For licensed works, enclosures are erected and kept under negative pressure — other trades can continue working in adjacent areas safely.
Yes — we hold a current HSE asbestos removal licence covering all notifiable ACM types including AIB, pipe lagging and sprayed coatings, as well as non-licensed works such as cement sheets and floor tiles.
Yes — if you've already bagged or wrapped asbestos waste correctly, we can collect it and arrange legal disposal with full EA consignment notes. If it's not yet packaged, we can supply bags and packaging materials or package it on arrival.
Before works: site-specific Method Statement and Risk Assessment. On completion: air test certificates, clearance certificate and Environment Agency consignment notes confirming legal disposal. All the documentation your client needs and that you need to demonstrate compliance.
Yes — we offer flexible scheduling including nights and weekends for contractors with tight programmes or clients who need works completed outside of normal hours. Let us know your requirements when you enquire and we'll build it into the programme.
